Process
My process for bespoke fitted furniture projects is as follows:

-
Arrange a convenient time to take measurements of the space and discuss you requirements.
-
Design the piece in 3D software and provide a quote. This process can take several days, since I do all design work and quotes myself during evenings and weekends.
-
We can work on alterations to the design if you are happy with the quote for version one of the piece of furniture.
-
I will then provide an estimate for the date that I can commence work.
-
An invoice will be issued for a deposit. This covers the cost of materials. This is typically done one or two days before I start working on your project. I want to ensure that the time between paying the deposit and installing/delivering your furniture is as short as possible, so I only work on one large project at a time.
-
It typically takes between one and two weeks to build, spray/finish (if required) and test assemble the piece. Anything that is too large to fit through a doorway fully assembled or to be carried by one person is brought in and assembled on site.
-
An invoice for the remaining amount is issued on the day of completion, once you had a chance to inspect the piece with me and confirmed that you are satisfied. I ask that you notify me in advance if you are unable to make the payment on the same day.
